Located in the historic birthplace of Paul Riquet, the architect of the Canal du Midi, this gem awaits you on the fourth floor. Housing

The carefully renovated 70m2 apartment is located on the fourth floor of the residence, which has 9 air-conditioned apartments. It is particularly quiet as the windows overlook a quiet street. You will enjoy the splendid view of the old town from the hanging chair, the travertine bathroom and all the modern comforts.

Note: the apartment is under the roof and the height of the bedroom door is 1.5 meters, which requires bending down a little to enter.

Passenger access

The residence is located opposite the Béziers Market Halls.

For an arrival by plane from Béziers Cap d'Agde Airport, a shuttle will take you to Béziers SNCF train station.

For train arrivals from Béziers train station: the building is a 12-minute walk away. There's also a taxi rank at the station, which costs around ten euros. Whatever mode of transportation you prefer, don't hesitate to contact us; we'll be happy to assist you.

For arrival by car: to park, you have 4 options:

- the Halles 1 underground car park, 150 metres away. It offers short-term passes of 3 and 7 days.

- Just downstairs from the building, in the Blue Zone, you can park for free for 30-minute sessions. A blue parking disc is required.

- 20 meters away, in the Yellow Zone, you will find paid parking spaces, where the first 30 minutes are free every day.

- 300 meters on foot, behind the Lycée Henri IV, it is possible to park completely free of charge.

Other remarks

The Halles and La Madeleine district is the liveliest in Béziers, teeming with numerous gourmet restaurants, tea rooms, bars, boutiques and local producers' markets; everything will be within immediate reach.

The Béziers Tourist Office is just a short walk away. Founded in 625 BC by the Greeks, the city is steeped in history and offers a variety of tourist attractions. Stroll through the narrow streets of the historic center and explore remarkable sites such as the Saint-Nazaire Cathedral, the Jardin des Poètes, the Church of La Madeleine (a tragic site during the crusade against the Cathars in 1209), the Place des Trois Six, the Fayet Museum, and majestic private residences, many of which date back to the Middle Ages.

Bus lines 5 and 7, located 20 meters away, connect you to the train station in just 5 minutes. It is convenient to reach the sandy beach of Valras Plage by bus, especially in summer, when parking near the beaches can be difficult.

You can reach the Nine Locks of Fonséranes on foot, by bus or with the Little Train, a masterpiece of the Canal du Midi and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Halles 1 underground car park is 150 metres away and offers 3-day and 7-day parking passes for short stays. Please note that we have an additional Halles 1 underground car park pass and will be happy to lend it to you during your stay, unless another guest is already using it at the time. Please let us know.

Finally, we have a travel cot available for your young child and we will be happy to make it available to you during your stay.

Alternatively, if you'd like to take a taxi, there's a taxi rank on site; it costs around ten euros. For arrivals by car: the building is located on the edge of Les Halles de Béziers. For parking, you have four options:
